THE BLACK LION
We think The Black Lion in Long Melford is as close as you can get to the pawfect country pub. You'll find a traditional bar with inviting rug by the cracking log fire in the winter, and an airy Garden Room with cooling flagstones to stretch out on in the warmer months.
The bedrooms have beautiful views over the village green and Melford Hall - a great spot for watching the world go by and daydreaming about the countryside adventures that await.
Melford Country Park is a favourite with visiting dog guests, and for the true adventurers, there are miles and miles of routes through water meadows, fields and woodland.
