The Cricketers is a popular country pub made famous by its long serving previous owners, the Olivers. That's right, the pub was once the stomping ground of celebrity chef, Jamie Oliver.
The pub's long history of great food continues - but don't take our word for it... try the cooked sausage on the doggy menu and decide for yourself!
Nestled in Clavering, “a place where clover grows,” amidst beautiful North West Essex rolling countryside, close to the borders of both Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire - there are fields as far as the eye can see.
Dog guests will find a welcome spot in front of the fire, or a place to stretch out on our terrace, a sun trap in the warmer months. When staying overnight, a comfy bed, water bowl and towel are always provided - with some pawsome extras when you book on the Muddy Paws package.
